As we reflect on the three LMD roles, many of us realize we spend very little time leading ourselves. The LMD process focuses on the importance of self-leadership and interdependence of each role.

LMD Roles
Lead: Self-leadership can be exemplified through various practices such as goal setting, self-motivation, and self-reflection.

Manage: Examples of self-management include prioritizing, scheduling, and tracking.

Do: Doing requires a level of self-discipline, motivation, and clear instructions.​
Strengths and Responsibilities
Lead: Reflect on what you need to facilitate achieving balance and purpose in life. Adopt effective Life Balance and Time Management systems.

Manage: Implement tools and processes that render goals and objectives into actionable tasks. Recognize and optimize high and low energy levels. Organize, prioritize and schedule tasks.

Do: Maintain focus. Avoid distractions. Optimize self-motivation techniques. Celebrate success.​​​
